Lots of things going on here on the planet – although some of these people seem totally out of this world as in “How did you plan to pay off that mortgage Mrs. Glopperkotz, seeing you had no employment?
Mrs.G: “Well… It’s like this. Nobody ever ast me. I din’t know I had to make payments. Nobody ever tole me.”
And the conversation goes downhill from there.

Tonight the #2 presidential debate will take to the air with Brit Hume moderating… the last one will feature Bob Shieffer of CBS, who loves hill-billy music, he says but also has a keen ear for any GOP statement and has already called a foul ball on the GOP side more than two weeks ahead of the debate. But then that’s what one comes to expect from the once pristine news organization. Ed Murrow spins in his casket.
We’re definitely in the attack-and-respond phase of the campaign. More heat than light results usually – especially with the media wolves circling the contest hoping to have a go at licking up the blood. IT’S ALL IN WHO YOU PAL AROUND WITH
Just A Minute – Gov. Palin caught a good deal of flak pointing out Mr. Obama pals around with terrorists. Obama’s camp cried foul saying “He was only two years old when Bill Ayers was doing ‘despicable’ (his word) acts in the Pentagon…” Confusion as to whether he was two or eight but that’s not important – what is important is the Senator diminishes and continues his association with Bill Ayers – who by his own words admits he to being a communist and left-wing activist; as certainly as Mrs. Palin admits to being a hockey-mom from Wasilla. Obama always steers away from the truth.
The same pattern emerges with Obama’s account of his pastor of twenty years, Jeremiah Wright – by his admission – who voices anti-American sentiments and associates with people like Lewis Farrakhan who want to drastically change
Look, we’re a phase of the campaign when charges and counter charges fly -- as they will tonight. We have to keep our cool and look for truth patterns while not being deceived by media reports or campaign rhetoric
