JAM NOTICES FOR Tues. 01-01-08

Hi Folks –

Well – I think we finally got most of the glitches worked out of the computer since the crash nearly four weeks ago. It’s a LONG story and certainly not worth repeating. I’ll just say the MS Windows Live One Care hasn’t proved its worth yet.  After the crash it was very difficult to find the way back home – and if it hadn’t been for some good personal friends who were willing to put themselves to some inconvenience to help me out I’d still be wandering in the wilderness. Plus I’ve got some really good and willing family help for which I’m really grateful.

PROMO LINE: Today on JUST A MINUTE we’ll be taking a quick backward glance at what was going on about four years ago when we were at about this same place in the process. Things change – but they seem to stay the same. Listen at (time) on this station.

Almost a new beginning on Monday 12-31-07

Hi folks...

It's been a long hiatus getting the computer over a bad crash. The machine
still has some hidden quirks - I'm sure they are the result of MS trying to
'help' us... trouble is it's working in the dark. They want to help... but
not *that* much. Like the store clerk..."This would be a nice place to work
if we weren't always pestered by these blinkin' *CUSTOMERS.* It often takes
getting fired or demoted before this lesson strikes home. Without customers
there would be no business.

Anyway...

Today we take a quick look at what's going to happen on Thursday... we'll
get the results of the IOWA caucuses for which we ought to get a medal just
for enduring this eternalistic race for what seems like forever... And are
we any better informed? George Washington would have been better informed.

But listen today for some commentary on the primaries.

We'll be trying to get the place cleaned up -- and if you know of a station
that would like to be part of the network -- please let me know.

It's nice to be back...

SOULFUL SOUTHERN ACCENTS – John Edwards says he ought to be picked because he sounds the most Presidential. The South Carolinian who was a North Carolina senator for one term says he sounds the most like Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton and so ought to become the Democrat’s nominee – Listen to JUST A MINUTE TODAY for details.
