RAHM HEADS HOME FOR ILLINOIS - Just A Minute Radio for Friday 101001

Once more we’ve reached the end of the week… and it’s been a full one.

Now Mr. Emanuel’s shift of platform is like “letting the cat out of the cellophane bag” – as t’was said about FDR when he announced for the fourth run at the Presidency – the term which he ended in Warm Springs Georgia, a very old and sick man… who had a totally unprepared Vice President, Harry S. Truman to take over for him – who through no fault of his barely knew where the front door of 1600 Pennsylvania was much less what he was supposed to do once he got inside.

Well, the Lord took us as Americans, through those perilous times…. Not *because we were Americans* -- but because it was HIS will – and HIS will, will still be accomplished in these perilous days – and I sincerely believe these *are* perilous days.  I rather vividly recall a cold Sunday afternoon in Roanoke, Virginia – when I was a nine year old lad being driven by my Aunt Pansy to a rehearsal for the coming Christmas program at Trinity Methodist Church where our family worshiped.  We had heard on the radio that afternoon that our Naval base in Hawaii’s Pearl Harbor was being attacked – apparently by Japanese aircraft and there were many casualties.

I certainly had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach… I suppose everyone else did.

We, as a nation had finished a war barely 23 years before – that was the war to “end all wars.”  But it didn’t. – And what followed was a long drawn out effort to preserve our nation… I felt some of the same emotion in April of 1945 when the end of the war in Europe was in sight. I had never known another President in my 13 years – what was America to do? Well, the Lord brought us through those troubled times and all of them since. It merely confirms what the Bible tells us over and over. HE is Lord. HE is good, HE is just and HE’s coming back to establish HIS kingdom here.  Be not afraid.  Those are the thoughts I cling to. I hope you do too.

We have to keep our heritage before us in order to keep track of where we’ve been and where we’re headed.  The important thing is to keep HIM at the head of our effort – and we have all the best instruction through the Bible and the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth.  Have a wonderful weekend worshiping the Lord!

“JUST A MINUTE”

RAHM HEADS HOME FOR ILLINOIS

Just a Minute: -- If I’ve read the tea leaves right – Rahm Emanuel goes home to Illinois delighting some and vexing others.

You may not know Rahm served the Illinois 5th District as Congressman in the wake of Rod Blagojevich and Dan Rostenkowski. His winning margins in those elections for four different terms were in the 60 percent plus range. You’d easily say the 5th is a district leaning heavily toward Democrats.

So now, how will he do in this short campaign for mayor… just a little more than a month?  It’s saying the obvious -- he knows the ropes. Also his penchant for cursing and vulgar language is apparently well-known but according to some, toned down. I guess it’s a flexible standard.

Bear in mind Emanuel served in the Clinton campaigns and also in the Clinton White House.  Pulling out of the Democrat effort to go to the Obama White House was done with delicacy and preservation in mind. Rahm Emanuel is a complex and experienced politician who will be 52 the 29th of November. A person to be reckoned with beyond the coming election.

PROMISES IN SCRIPTURE COMING TRUE IN POLITICAL WORLD - Just A Minute Radio for Thursday 100930

Well, how’s *your* day so far?

“It’s a BEAUTIFUL day in Chicago” – according to Rahm Emanuel – who wants to get out of that ‘terrible’, scoundrel-infested, back-biting place, called “DC” where people use rough language and write books, that quote stuff you didn’t expect even after you’ve OK’d them to come in and talk with the Boss himself off the record! Arghhh!

Rahm can’t wait till he can get back to Planet Blago where one may rely on good friends to protect you and keep your back. It’s easier to relax in your favorite deli and find friendly hands to be shook and a few $$$ to be realized making your planned Mayoral race the most successful since the Daly Machine came to power. The Chicago ‘kowtowing’ in your direction helps to keep your ‘mojo’ in good shape.

There is the problem… of getting the tenant in Rahm’s house to move out with sufficient alacrity so he can rescue wife and children out of that mean old Capital City which has not fully treated him with the level of respect he enjoys in good ole Cook County where one can *always* dig up a few extra votes when needed. But … well, that’s life in the fast lane. (L) Who wudda thot or thunk it?

The polls are bouncing around like the silver balls in the pinball machine. Up one day and down the next… The important thing… (at least I find it so) is to remind yourself of the fact “the Lord is still in control.” Since HE made everything… “and without Him was not anything made that was made.”(John 1:3) —He is the total controlling factor in this whole deal. It is NOT beyond HIS power to change things for the better or for worse, depending on what HIS will is. So… Dear Friends… be confident in this very thing – “He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. ” (Philippians 1:6)

There’s not a thing to worry about. If you consider carefully, the Hon. Alan Grayson, Esq. Who grew up in the Bronx, became a top student at Harvard and graduated from its law school – was a clerk to Justices Ginsberg and Scalia – and thinks of himself quite highly – possibly more highly than he ought to think – is really a tool in the Master’s hand accomplishing *exactly* what HE wants. We can trust in that to be the right thing… the course which is best for us all. I’m relaxed about it. I trust you will be too.

Cordially, IN HIM

“JUST A MINUTE”

PROMISES IN SCRIPTURE COMING TRUE IN POLITICAL WORLD

Just a Minute: -- Right now a Bible truth is being played out in the political world – as we proceed to elect our government representatives.

Alan Grayson, is a wealthy Florida lawyer – first term Democrat who made national news this year saying: “Republican health policy for the elderly is [for them] to die soon”… Even liberals were taken aback.

Now he’s taken to calling his Republican opponent, State Legislator Daniel Webster, “Taliban Dan” – and began airing a TV ad which edits Mr. Webster’s filmed chapel talk – about husbands and wives loving one another – turning it inside-out, picturing Mr. Webster saying repeatedly—“submit to me… submit to me…”

Grayson won’t pull the ad nor apologize for twisting Ephesians five to say the opposite of Candidate Webster’s talk. So, as a result, Mr. Grayson is giving Mr. Webster’s campaign a strong surge of interest while conservative money flows into Webster’s coffers. Possibly we shall get a close-up view of the Biblical truth in Psalm 76 verse 10 which says: Surely the wrath of men shall praise thee…”

OF COURSE YOU KNOW HOW -- ONCE I SHOW YOU! -- Just a Minute Radio for Wednesday 100929BB#39

Hello… late in the day getting the news on the Blog for Wednesday.

There are just too many things to do – and only 24 hours in the day to do them.  So today, I’m trying to catch up – but losing the race.

This is the “campin’ pain season” as the guys over at “EARN ‘N’ LESTER’S BAIT SHOP & SUSHI BAR” point out to me. They are all sort of winding down the fishing season and winding up the hunting experience.  As a kid this was the time of year when my Dad would take me squirrel hunting – trying to teach me how to hunt.

Well, it turns out I wasn’t a much better shot than I was a basketball or baseball player. Some folks just have the talent I guess and some don’t. I think gifted fathers can pass along some of their talent or experience to their sons… (and perhaps to their daughters) and my Dad tried mightily… but … without a lot of success.

I liked to *catch* fish… but sitting for an hour or two in the sun without a bite wasn’t really … well… exciting.  That wasn’t Dad’s fault… but no matter where we went fishing, in farm ponds in Alabama or South Carolina…places where relatives lived… as I remember it – it was pretty much the same story. I tried to take my oldest grandson fishing in the same fashion… with just about the same result. He doesn’t care for fishing either… or hunting. I suppose I passed along a full sized helping of the Buttram “luck”.

However… we do have happy families and good relations. I just don’t seem to be a good teacher.  Same story on driving… but we won’t go there. (L)

Anyway—that’s the reason I’m late today (tonight) so no need to worry about it. The POLITICS are takin’ over… It’s on my ticket and we’ll try to make it up some other way. The race to the November 2nd finish line is well underway… I think I’ll have something more interesting in tomorrow’s blog… so please drop by or drop me a line when you have time. All the best.

PEERING INTO A NOT EXACTLY CLEAR CHRYSTAL BALL -- Just a Minute Radio for Tuesday 100928

Howdy once more… we’re batterer but not bowed… by the circumstances of our electronic marvels.

Yesterday, it seemed the world was full of stories about how we’re all going to have to watch what we say or send on the Internet lest we get overtaken by the thought police.  Shades of George Orwell!

In these days of electronics and teeny-tiny TV cameras… including those disguised as cell phones – well you’d just better count on living straight and flying right… or somebody’s going to turn you in! Actually, if someone has a propensity to do evil… and are headed straight for it.  There’s not much you and I can do except pray and get out of the way.

In the realm of international relations… it’s pretty obvious “being nice” to the North Koreans is *not* going to win you the Nobel Peace Prize… but then neither is carrying around a loaded 357 Magnum – you’re more likely to start a war.

Barbara and I happened upon a British murder mystery or TV  spy story – and she began to squirm when it was apparent something bad was about to happen to the police… She asked me: “Why don’t they get out their guns?” I had to remind her that for the most part British policemen do not carry guns… at least not to the same degree American police do. It’s one of the cultural differences.

And I suppose there are lots of other less portentous differences between our British cousins than that… but apparently one culture feels more comfortable one way – and the other has a different standard for firearms. It’s something you grow up with I guess. – Well… I don’t know how we got off on this subject.

But I know one area in which we are slipping and sliding down the slippery slope… and that’s in being polite in our shared conversations. In my book, Bill O’Reilly is the worst offender. It appears to be a physical impossibility with him to let the other person say more than three syllables before he’s in on top of them saying what HE thinks.  Neal Cavuto and Greta VanSusteren are much more polite… and others too I suppose… it’s the offenders that I notice.

Oh well… I’m getting more crotchety in my dotage… so … But at least I do try NOT to interrupt my wife or the children.  Our “culture” otherwise is suffering badly.

But… nice to have you with us today … you’ve been very quiet and attentive. Oh yes… I spent the better part of two hours cleaning out the ‘comments’ box here on this page… I’ll see your remark posted there more readily if you care to leave one… or if you use the e-mail address at the bottom of the page I’m far more likely to pick it up sooner.  God be with you today and we’ll look for you tomorrow!

“JUST A MINUTE”

PEERING INTO A NOT EXACTLY CLEAR CHRYSTAL BALL

Just a Minute: -- Stephen Hayes, Senior writer at The Weekly Standard just wrote a profile piece about Sen. John Thune (Republican – South Dakota) appearing in the left-leaning Washington Post. Hayes examines Thune closely – Experienced politicians know you can’t beat somebody with nobody.

Observers take John Thune’s willingness to let Hayes do the profile as opening the door wide to the 2012 contest. Thune himself admits to ‘thinking about it.’ The Post’s political columnist, Chris Cillizza, (Chi-LIZ-ah) details Thune’s coming from a small down of Murdo, population 679, and that he won athletic fame in North Dakota. Thune went on to become a successful three term Congressman, plus serving a full term in the Senate after defeating Tom Daschle, the most powerful Democrat at the time. He shapes up at present as a very appealing anti-Obama”Which might be just the ticket the Tea Party ordered.

Anyway – it’s something to mull over in the 35 days ‘till November 2nd.

WHO'S COUNTING VOTES IN THE CAUCUS? Just a Minute Radio for Monday 100927

Hello…. Sorry I’m late on this Monday – but I had a computer collapse last Wednesday and that tends to slow one down… especially if you have only two brain cells that don’t work well together (J) and you’re pushing hard for the 8th decade.  Enough with the excuses already!

But here we are gradually pulling things together out of a faulty memory – and getting a cranky computer who had been acting quirky – and finally decided to wholly throw in the towel.  So I’ve had to start over with a totally new machine and operating system.

Finally, with some help from a local exert tech guy – and a couple of talented grandkids who know about ten times as much about computers as this old brain can follow – we are slowly, like a Phoenix, arising from the ashes. Well… enough of that. We will survive as long as the Lord wants us to keep at it.

            =====

Today’s program deals with the spineless actions of a majority of Senate Republicans.  I knew we had a lot on the Democrat side of the aisle – but a majority of the GOP members of their Republican Senate Caucus voted to keep Senator Murkowski in her role as the ranking member of the Energy Committee even though she lost the Alaska primary – and even initially congratulated Joe Miller the winner.

Now, in a complete reversal, she’s decided to run as an independent write-in saying, “Well Strom Thurmond did it! Arrrgh…

Strom Thurmond ran as a write in because the “Barnwell Ring” of the Democrat party in the wake of Sen. Burnet Maybank’s sudden death between the primary and the general election. The Democrats refused to have an open election and selected one of their own to be the next South Carolina Senator for the next six years.

That selfish move so angered Thurmond, as well as virtually the entire electorate, he felt the only way the will of the people could be expressed properly was to run as a write-in. He’s been the *only* successful write-in to win a Senate seat – although several others have tried. It’s tantamount to running the four-minute mile and then just because you lost -- you decide to have a second chance to win. That’s just not the way it works.  It happens, I was Senator Thurmond’s press aide several years after he decided he was no longer welcome in the Democrat party and in 1964 he ran as a Republican – he kept his word, resigned, and won in a regular election.

He never suffered a defeat. He kept his word – which is more than can be said for Ms Murkowski.

            =======

Well enough history for today … let’s see if I can get this blog to post.

            Thanks for coming by…

“JUST A MINUTE”

WHO’S COUNTING VOTES IN THE CAUCUS?

Just a Minute: -- The spineless, dishrag gang, hiding out amongst the Senate Republicans, are too scared to show their backing of Senator Lisa Murkowski in the Republican caucus. She’s now running to overturn the fair-and-square election contest decided last Tuesday.  But they’ve now hidden their votes from constituents in a closed door-session with no tally announced.  What they have done openly is succeed in slapping Jim DeMint in the face for backing Joe Miller, as her replacement in the Alaska contest to select another senator in the Alaska primary. Now she’s angling for a second bite at the apple Saying Strom Thurmond did it. Ridiculous…Thurmond resigned after two years and ran in the regular election process.

Marc Thiessen, AEI Fellow and Washington Post Columnist says: “The idea DeMint and the Tea Party are threatening the GOP's chances for reclaiming the majority is absurd. Republicans wouldn't have a shot at taking back either the House or Senate were it not for the Tea Party movement…”

WITCHES TAKE OVER NEWS CREATION -- Just A Minute Radio for Tuesday 100921

We’re still on the up-side of the week. ---

But the inevitable nay-sayers that pop up as election time draws near are here.  And almost inadvertently some of those we think of as ‘on our side’ have stepped on their own shoe strings and stumbled across the lines.

First, it was Karl Rove on Tuesday night a week ago, when he came on Sean Hannity’s program to say he had been counting on winning control of the Senate – and ‘now look what you’ve done.’  Oliver, lecturing Hardy in the old black and white comedies – “Now look what a mess you’ve gotten us into.”

No sooner do I get my dry powder ready to let him have a shot across the bow when our friend Charlie Krauthammer steps off into the same sink-hole. Krauthammer can’t seem to see the huge tidal wave building out beyond the breakers that I believe is going to crash ashore on the Democrats like the one in Indonesia did several years ago and took half the population almost out to sea.

Kraut thinks control of the Senate is the *most* important thing. I disagree. I realize he gets paid a LOT more than I do to think about these things… and that he worked for George W. Bush… but I’ve always had this ‘southern bomb-thrower streak’ going back to the Goldwater days… so I want a guy on “our” side to stay on our side and not go wandering off into the bushes.

First, we knew getting the Senate back was going to be a LOT harder than getting the House again. I’m guessing that will still be true because from the beginning we knew we had to win 10 seats to regain a ‘perilous’ majority. Getting control of one House will be sufficient for the time being and give us a chance to get ‘back in the saddle again.’  There’s going to have to be a LOT of re-education about the snarkiness of ‘earmarks’ – and cutting down Congressmen’s favorite projects etc. etc.—if we’re going to work ourselves out of the current mess that may be even worse by the time we get a chance at the helm.  A couple of years of ‘legislative lockjaw’ will be welcome so we can regain our equilibrium.’

So… I move we concentrate on doing the *right* thing… not spending more than we have no matter how tempting the grass looks on the other side of the fence. We need to get our hands back on the fiscal wheel if we mean what we say we mean about reducing spending and smaller government.  It means a *great deal of educating* the average voter and coming back to earth for the common citizen to effect the kind of correction that will bring us back to a sustainable situation.

I don’t claim to have all the answers – but I do know a half-hearted effort which results when we do what is the politically expedient thing: Example: George Bush going up to PA to campaign for Arlen Specter six years ago when Pat Toomey was running not a smart move – Bush should not have done it. Look at the misery it’s caused.  But they wanted to ‘save’ Specter. It was a mistake, and I think GWB would agree. So… let’s don’t go down that road again Mr. Rove. Voting for Mr. Castle in Delaware would be heading right back into that same trap.

OK … it’s “Get down from the soapbox time again.” I always have these *do the right thing* -- not the expedient thing, banging around in my brain. I don’t think I’m smarter than he is, I guess somewhere along the way [I credit my parents mostly.] … that’s the fork in the road I have to take. I think that’s the kind of thing that’s underlying the hoped-for success I believe we stand on the brink of achieving … if we don’t get impatient and kick over the traces.  You non-farm folks will have to get that translated. Enough hot air from me for today… I’m hoping the cool winds of Autumn will soon be here… can’t come too soon.

WITCHES TAKE OVER NEWS CREATION

Just a Minute: -- Barbara Boxer and Nancy Pelosi are two witchy members of The California Coven! Ann Telnaes, Pulitzer cartoonist, joins her witchy viewpoint of Tea Party Independents in criticizing the surprising Delaware winner Christine O’Donnell. What they fail to recognize is the more dirt you aim at these “upstarts” who dare challenge the overweening wisdom of the New York Times or the Washington Post – the more fuel you’re adding to the Tea Party’s bonfire burning ever more brightly as November Second approaches.

Karl Rove, and over last weekend, Charles Krauthammer, have fallen prey to their own self-created problems.  Unable to grasp the law of reverse effect – they fail to recognize what William Shakespeare put on parchment prior around four centuries ago about Queen Gertrude, Hamlet’s mother. Her observation: “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.” … confirmed Hamlet’s suspicion about his father’s murder.  Similar suspicion is abroad today.

We need no more ‘summer soldiers’ or sunshine patriots’ in determining to protect our blessed Republic.

FAKE NEWS TO DERAIL THE TEA PARTY EXPRESS -- Just A Minute Radio for Monday 100920

Wonderful to have you with us on a Monday…

I just finished clearing out my e-mail box and when messages come through this comments channel it’s in a no-reply category, so I don’t have the capability of even saying thanks.  But if you use the e-mail address at the bottom of the info – n4zhk@arrl.net I get to send back a reply.  I’m busy getting together a program five times a week. The difficulty is writing down something simple that makes sense with some kind of style – and fitting it into about 180 words or about 60 seconds.

Most often I’ve heard it attributed to Thomas Jefferson – but it well could have been someone else. “Please excuse this long letter; I didn’t have time to write a short one.

People I meet at the store, or church sometime ask how long it takes to write a minute’s worth of radio script… Well… In my case adding the reading time – ferreting out a single subject (I’ve discovered you simply cannot deal with two subjects in one minute – at least not understandably) – it takes about 3.5 hours beginning to end. Occasionally, If the Lord sends me a good idea quickly – and it sometimes happens that way – I can do the whole thing in an hour and a half… but even then… {An Hour and a half for a scrawny sixty seconds…???}  Yep… I plead guilty.

However, now that we’re getting close to the vortex that forms in the time before a major election -- and I think for America as a nation this IS a special time – it seems there’s more going on I can possibly keep up with.  But I’ll do my best. I appreciate all of you who say you listen.  Sometimes in the broadcasting business you begin to wonder if *anyone* is out there?  I’m glad YOU are. Thanks for giving us feed back – your opinion IS helpful and guiding.

So… May the Lord find us Faithful. Faithful to the one who formed us.  I focus attention on that information in Scripture:  “Faithful is he that calleth you who also will do it.”  1 Thess. 5:24

FAKE NEWS TO DERAIL THE TEA PARTY EXPRESS

Just a Minute: -- Two top Fake News Guys are planning a FAUX (fake) NEWS RALLY about October 30th at the Washington Monument. Bring it on guys!  You’re really encouraging the efforts of the Tea Party Independents you’re trying to squash.  Keep at it! You’re paddling OUR canoe!

South Carolinian Stephen Colbert (kol- BEAR) and, Jon Stewart are asking the National Park Service for one permit to rally 25 thousand people about October 30th.  They’ll label it something like THE GREAT FAUX (fake) NEWS RALLY.  Their intention, of course, is to dampen the turnout of independent and conservative voters stirred by their attempts to mock Americans who are ‘fed up’ with their brand of anti-conservative, snake-oil.

Apparently they don’t realize they’re actually swelling the anti-establishment tidal wave building offshore destined to swamp the progressive efforts of “The Obama Deficit Destruction Gang” which began January 2009.

Let’s do all WE can to help these “joy boys of desecration” achieve an incomparable conservative victory on November Second.

KARL ROVE IS A LOUSY CHEERLEADER! -- Just A Minute Radio for Friday 100917

Great to have you along for a nice Friday ride…

We can siddown and draw a breath after the excitement of the middle part of the week.  Wasn’t it a cliff-hanger?  Everybody said the young lady from Delaware couldn’t win over the hand-picked twice-governor, four-term Congressman Castle – who is Congressman for the whole state – but she did! Now comes the *really heavy* lifting.

It’s the same old song you hear on the Merry Go Round. (BTW for some of our older readers “Washington-Merry-Go-Round “ which used to be the title of a frequent column originating in the Nation’s capital. The original writer was Drew Pearson – you have to be old to remember him. But the more recent one that some of our younger [as in middle age] readers might remember was Jack Anderson.] Brit Hume – recently retiring from Fox News was a reporter for that column along with John Fund who currently is a senior writer for the Online Journal – one of the electronic spinoffs of the Wall St. Journal now owned by the News Corp. – which does not own this column or this station. (J)

Anyway – in today‘s program I try to get across the fact some of our electronic and journalistic friends (and we Conservatives don’t count them as a great cloud of witnesses.) also drift out of the lane. Karl Rove did that this week… along with a host of other ‘establishment’ Republicans. See, that’s one of the reasons I’ve backed term-limits so much. For instance Sen. Jim DeMint is – in my opinion – doing a great job as Senator. But his colleague, Senator Graham, who went to Congress in the same general time period of the current Congressman Bob Inglis from here in the upstate, has been in Washington long enough to have his vision “bent” to where he can’t see straight any longer – and the fact he won’t be returning to the Capital in January is, in my opinion, mainly due to being off in ‘never-ever-land” which is that part just north of the Potomac encircled by the Washington Beltway.

If you stay there long enough, it is *very* difficult to retain your vision and viewpoint of the people you were sent there to represent in the first place.  How long is “too long” you may ask?  Well, back when Bob Inglis and Dick Army and others were actively proposing a limit on the length of time you could serve as a congressman or senator, they proposed three terms in the House and two in the Senate… Despite my best efforts to get them to change that to six terms in the House (12 years) and two terms in the Senate (also 12 years – and they do *love* to be treated as equals we found out) the effort faile… or the proponents gave up.  I still harbor hopes it could/would be established, which would do a lot to improve the system. {Along with limiting the term of judges…especially Supreme Court Judges.)

There is no doubt in my mind that the exercise of power inevitably corrupts or twists the thinking of “Public Servants.” I have stories and observations beyond my own, to back it up. I can also remember when President Roosevelt ran for his 4th term. Born in 1932, I had never known any other President. I thought it would be un-patriotic to *think* of anyone else for President – even though my parent’s voted Republican (sometimes holding their noses.)  Well – that just reinforces what I happen to think about the issue. I don’t claim Devine revelation about it. It would take a much longer essay than you would like to read. So…I’ll save it for another time.

Thanks for going with me this far. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this (or anything else) if you’d care to write… the e-mail address is n4zhk@arrl.net and I’ll answer – it may take a while but I’ll answer. God bless you all and have a great weekend. Don’t forget Sunday School & prayer meeting… they’re opportunities for worship and communication too!

            “JUST A MINUTE”

KARL ROVE IS A LOUSY CHEERLEADER

Just a Minute: -- I doubt Karl Rove planned to step into a sink-hole while  denying he is a Republican cheerleader – but that’s what he did Tuesday evening arguing with Sean Hannity on Fox News in the wake of Christine O’Donnell’s unexpected victory which even Karl said “couldn’t be done.”

He obviously failed to see how much he tarnished his own standing with conservatives when he threw cold-water on her general victory prospects in the midst of the evening’s celebration. “Spoken in haste, rued at leisure.”

Every pundit eventually comes a-cropper -- and this is where Rove stumbled in his criticism of conservatives stepping out of their usual reticence, to express joy at a very attractive ‘under-dog’ candidate winning when even her own “establishment” said she’d lose.  It was the wrong words at the wrong time. They need some cheering on. They’ve been called crazies long enough. So Karl, chalk it up, as a learning experience – next time you’ll see these tidal waves coming. Just don’t make the same mistake twice – there are too many new ones to make.
