Have you ever been working with a tool in the workshop or an implement in the kitchen when you put it down somewhere and then half a minute later can’t find it?
Well… that’s me putting this blog together… I forget to do things or I forget that I have already done certain things and do them twice… or I just LOSE stuff… an wonder where it is – sometimes for DAYS – and then it turns up in my pants pocket.
Seems like I’m getting worse.
I keep asking Santa for a better – more functional memory… but it does not happen.
I keep looking for Santa for more response from the blogosphere… all I got was news that Blagojevich got 14 years…. I don’t think that will clear
Have you read the latest story on
Well.. I’m getting a bit tired here almost 1AM and I need to put this little baby to bed… I mean the Just A Minute Blog. But measuring the mail that came this year… I don’t think the Post Office has to worry about our mail breaking down their system.
And on that cheery note… I will be up … well TONIGHT – to see how well Mitt and Michelle, a Dr. Paul, Sen. Santorum … oh and of course Rick… I didn’t mean to put him at the end of the line. And now I’ve forgotten the sixth one…see… I forget!
So you all get a good nap and see it through and send along your picks for the next go round…
My *private e-mail address is* n4zhk@arrl.net... You’ll never get a busy signal.

“JUST A MINUTE”
WHAT’S MOST IMPORTANT TO SEE
IS OFTEN OVERLOOKED.
Just a Minute: Edgar Allen Poe wrote his “Purloined Letter” which communicates how readily we may overlook something very important even when we think we’re inspecting intently. Tonight will be what the media believes to be a very important event. I’m not all that sure. It’s easy to be lead around by a reporter who’s on a different frequency than you are.
The New York Times discovers Romney personally to be frugal … The Washington Post says in debates he’s "supremely rational," and "a problem solver." He’s long past needing to make money and he left business world “to rescue the Winter Olympics.”
Contrast that with the Wall St. Journal‘s Cartoon depicting Mr. Gingrich as a human hand-grenade walking around with his hand ready to pull the pin saying, “Watch this.” Sen. Lindsey Graham told a reporter he could a historic president if he has “matured and … calmed down.” That’s about as close as those who have worked closely with him get to a compliment.
So… tonight at nine at the last pre-voting debate -- your work is cut out for you. I’m Jack Buttram. (END)
