IT'S A BIG JOB -- LET'S GET TO IT! -- Just A Minute Radio for Friday120629

Great to have you with us today for the joining party.

 

We’re getting closer to the real ‘crunch’ time as we move on toward the Nov. 6^th election. It’s going to be a corker – but beware… Mr. Obama and company have already pulled all the CORKS for their celebration – but just like Mr. “O” was leading them astray (and all the rest of us with misleading information) they are soon coming to the bottom of the barrel – and that just means they get ‘let down’ sooner and with a mighty *bang*!

 

Anyway we’ve launched this program with prayer and diligence and committing the result to the Lord. That’s the way it should be – and will be. So here we go into the fray and we’ll be sure to find the way – “The Lord leads in mysterious ways HIS wonders to perform.”  Just look at how far wide of the mark *everyone* was in calculating how the Obama-care milieu was going to come out.

 

Look I carefully calculated during my days in San Francisco in 1964 leading up to how “we” – the Goldwater Campaign being run out of the RNC Headquarters on “Eye” Street in downtown Washington – were going to have the ‘silent majority’ spring out of the woodwork and rack up the win for us – we even had a big party planned. You know the end of the story ... it didn’t happen.

 

UNTIL several election cycles later when a movie actor from California who learned how to handle the reins of power in the California State House, was seated in the OVAL office at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in one of the coldest Januarys I can remember to become one of the oldest Presidents we ever had AND one of the best ever – none of us on the front end of that campaign could ever have engineered the kind of Presidential terms in office He had – Praise the Lord!

 

So…let us remember – and tattoo it on the inside of our eyelids – (figuratively of course) – THE LORD IS IN CONTROL!  He never fails! If you don’t know that then you aren’t reading the Bible enough!

 

Well…here on the eve of this tremendous victory coming our way we simply must remember – HE IS IN CONTROL – the earth,, sky, sea and the entire universe is HIS – HE made it – by HIM all things “consist” (which means hold together) – so just hang on to that until next week when we have time to chat it all over again.

IT’S A BIG JOB – LET’S GET TO IT!

          Just a Minute: Didn’t I tell you yesterday there was big news in Washington?

Now I get to tell you about it. The first sentence begins with “WE THE PEOPLE…” and continues with, “… and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and to our posterity…”

          So today let us set about securing those blessings. In our America it is absolutely clear that ultimate power rests with the people. Ask any constitutional scholar and he or she will tell you the Constitution – as endorsed and empowered BY THE PEOPLE says what may or may not be done and that includes paying taxes and/or writing and imposing laws and the powers of those who form this “more perfect union” of the United States of America.

          It is simple and fundamental therefore it should be readily understood by Americans.  We are this day empowered to order and do whatever we wish to accomplish as a nation. Don’t let anyone tell you anything different; read the Constitution its Preamble and its Amendments. It’s all there. End of case!
