Welcome to the new week. Glad to have you with us..
OK… we’re not to the Convention line as yet – but it’s wonderful to feel like we’re within hootin’ distance of the end – the finish line. And we’re counting on the folks ‘back home’ to make it happen.
I don’t just know where all this determination comes from but I feel like it’s there and we’re going to be successful in bringing the bow around and starting back the place where economy dwells and people can start getting close to jobs again and having the confidence things are on the right track. It’s just been in my mood that we’ve been headed down the wrong way because we’ve had the wrong leadership.
I’m not anxious to shovel all the blame on one person because it took more than the effort of one person to get us in this nation into the ‘mess we is in’ – so it’s going to take an understanding and bringing together enough people to bring us out. But I do believe it can be done and done with good cheer and success. I don’t think there has to be a lot of moaning and groaning and apologize to anyone who believes I’ve been involved in bringing that about. I have no I’ll feelings toward anyone, I’ve just decided it’s up to me to do MY part and that’s what I expect and hope to do. May the Lord be with us all.
So… what’s next on the agenda? The next thing is to run the race, to finish it honorably and to share the good feelings of being in the Lord’s will and dedicated to seeing HIS world exalted and his word lifted up, and when we do that there should be a working reconciliation available to all parties – for those who are willing to come together.
Well, I’m writing this late at night – and there’s no ability on my part to stay up late – because we have a morning get together for prayer. My wife and I will be going together – we have quite a few folks out of town – but that’s all right because the Lord will lay it on the hearts of those HE wants there to share in the prayer time – and that’s ALL we need.
I’m not trying to roll all my beliefs on your shoulders. I just want to make it known that the Lord IS in control and HE will bring about the purposes and results HE wants in HIS time. That’s ALL I want. And I thank you for being a part of bringing us all together.

Just a Minute: Peggy Noonan says: “Republicans are starting to think they can win; Democrats are starting to think they can lose.” So, I cruised around the Internet --- Here’s a non-scientific, slightly more than 60 seconds worth:
Some for getting rid of Mr. O: *** the majority of Independents are not happy with Obama's policies and Reid and Pelosi… ***2010 is a good indicator. GOP gaining Kennedy's seat is a good indicator. **** The Clown Prince currently occupying the Oval Orifice is a good indicator. ***The GOP is winning the debate on the economy. And when … you haven't had a good payday in three or more years, the economy becomes your single issue.”
And some favoring retaining Mr. O: *** Mr.Obama has the uber libs, like yourself, already sewn up. He's not worried about your vote. He knows you aren't paying attention. *** He improves the odds for minorities … He will implement Obamacare. *** Why do you think Barry will win? Why do you think he deserves reelection is a better question? … *** Republicans have to be more accepting of minorities, yet they can't bring themselves to do it. *** Because Obama hasn't delivered as promised … That's why”.
