With the number of candidates we have on scene… and the number of ahhh… should I call them ‘accusers’? … Anyway it’s getting to where you can’t tell the players even WITH a program. And we’re running out of programs!
To the confusion of all the primaries going on… and this week the elections in some states (and commonwealths) but not all -- we are really left to shift for ourselves. I’m up till the ‘wee’ hours trying to figure out what’s going on – or maybe what’s likely to be going on? Anyway – throw in a bit of computer confusion on top and it becomes a ‘hot fudge sundae.’
I’m not sure I’m up to carrying on like this for a whole year. (L) But we’ll keep at it for now.
Perhaps you’re more able to keep track of things than I am – but with only ten fingers and ten toes… I’m unable to keep track of the names and faces that pop in and out of the news pictures whether on paper or on the ‘tube.’ However… I know we have to keep on aiming for the target. Just cut us a little slack please. (J)
You can tell from the dialog of the folks over at EARL ‘N’ LESTER’S BAIT SHOP AND SUSHI BAR that they are confused. I am confused. I guess it’s better that we are all in the same boat and give our brains a time to cool off during the winter months… and hope for the best when Spring comes.
For my own part I’m trying to eat a little less… walk a little more … and read something besides the newspapers or listen to the RTV guys and gals. I’m getting too old for this game.
Well… it’s been a long day getting ready for Wednesday – but we are at the top of the hump in the middle of the week… and the possibility of a somewhat calmer weekend is at least within considerable distance that it’s not impossible. Just don’t shift us in high gear for the coming holidays… let us have that be enjoyable and not hectic. (J). It was nice to walk in and out of a nice calm fire station on Tuesday.

THIS IS THE STRANGEST LINE UP I’VE EVER BEEN IN
MizP: Jist A Minit: Mr. Jack – Has you evah seen such a strange corngranulation as this week?
Jack: I’ll have to admit I haven’t MizPearlie. What do you make of it?
MizP: Ah cain’t mek hit out Mr. Jack. Ah ain’t ever witnessed so much ‘cusein’ and cross cusin!
Homer: You is tawkin’ ‘bout th’ lections Miz Pearl?
MizP: Naw – I’ze tawkin’ bout th’ line up Mr. Cain has done assembled.
Jack: Certainly is remarkable.
BB: Ah ain’t had tha-ut menny girls givin’ me attention since th’ first grade.
Jack: What happened in the first grade Billy-bob?
BB: Ah had done saved back all th’ lollypops frum trick er treet nite.
MizP: So whut happened?
BB: Out on th’ playground at ree-cess Ah was mobbed. Fell down skinned my knees.
Homer: You mean all the girls rushed at you?
BB: They shore did – knocked me plum over an scrabbled up all my candy.
MizP: Well tha-ut serves you rite…. Bringin’ the goodies ta recess.
BB: Well… Ah din’t wanna be hoggin ‘em – but ah din’t wanna be trampled on neither.
Jack: So spread out the sweet stuff to your girl friends.
BB: Hit won’t my intention.
Homer: So they jist hepped them seves?
BB: Won’t nothin’ else ta do ‘bout it. I dint want ta make a scene…
MizP: But sounds like you did.
BB: Mr. McGee, th Principal jist stood there a-laffin at me. Ah turned pink.
Jack: Well, I wouldn’t worry about it Billy – you look none the worse for weat.
BB: Well I did then… skinned knees and broke glasses.
MizP: Oh … Ah’m sorry Mr. Beeelie… they shunt have done tha-ut.
Homer: Souns like th’ riots they’s havin’ in th Capitol an New Yawk.
BB: Yeah, I reckon hit does. But Ah din’t mean ta mek a seen.
Jack: I suppose it happens to us all Mr. Bill. – You got any thing else to say?
BB: Yeah… one thang…
Homer: What’s tha-ut Mr. Billie…?
BB: Don’t wawk near a buncha girls wif lollipop in yo han…
Jack: OK… I’ll write that down.
MizP: But you cudda started out givin’ ‘em away… then you’d be a hee-ro.
Jack: Good advice Miz Pearlie… but I think we have to go today.
