WE HAVE CROSSED THE RIVER AND COME OUT THE OTHER SIDE - Just A Minute Radio for Wednesday 110504

We’ve had a particularly bad time for the years since 2001 – September 9th

Although we knew the source of our attackers and how they grew… it took us a while to get things set up so we could – as a nation – undertake to correct the problem.

So today’s blog is rather short and sort of wanting to launch out into a field we have not fully explored or been able to utilize as we wished.

We reeled in the entire clan that had been located in Hawaii for the past several years… but a shrinking ability to gather enough folks together to properly worship as was needed and felt – ended up with something more like a ‘family church’ than a place for public worship.  One of the biggest difficulties from the beginning was an inability to locate -- and assemble sufficient funds to purchase – a suitable meeting place. Land on Oahu was/is so much in demand and limited in it’s availability, the expense of purchasing became just too great.

I’m not the one to narrate all this – I write it simply to explain what occasioned the need to make some changes and shift effort into activity and availability of the resources to carry on an effective use of the efforts of people based there.

Now we’re looking and praying for the Lord’s guidance for each of our children and their families, to be effective in the areas in which the Lord desires for them to go. So last evening was spent partially in watching thunderclouds roll in and move off to the northeast… and reunite at the local airport all that clan getting ready for a new chapter in each life.

Barbara and I – along with the other set of grandparents that live in the same vicinity – are looking forward to this visit and expecting great things from the Lord as HE bestows it upon this part – and all parts – of our immediate family. We’re scattered from Texas to Minnesota to Greenville with offshoots expected from here to there and in between. It’s an enjoyable but in some ways difficult bit of navigation.  Just sort of a total taking apart the jigsaw puzzle and spreading out all the bits and pieces to figure out where they all go next.

So… please be understanding and patient with us as we re-plant and reorganize our group – expecting the Lord’s direction for each person and what HE wants for us to be productive and useful in HIS kingdom.  Thanks…

Cordially, IN HIM
