Howdy again –
Well, my good friend Carl B. correctly identified the leader of the March Around the Breakfast Table that used to occur every weekday morning on ABC radio originating out of
So much for a little bit of humor. A really *little bit* … Today’s program deals with something a bit more serious. Dick Cheney – who’s first job in
Anyway – below you’ll find today’s script and a link to the audio track should you want to hear it. I think that’s working OK now.
I’m loath to put on political junk news during the Christmas season. We have things that are more uplifting and important I believe to contemplate during this week in December. May I suggest for all you fathers and grand fathers… and even great grandfathers [I’m proud to be in that club now – five qualifiers] that this is an excellent time to gather the family around and even if you know it by heart… read the Christmas story in Luke 2 or Matthew’s account of the Magi. You’ll be making some memories for the children and grandchildren to pass on to their families. You can find no higher calling at this particular time – I believe.
Cordially, IN HIM

From friends I had to endure the constant jab that Bush never visits the wounded. I knew it was not true. I said nothing as they would not be persuaded otherwise. With this latest news they will call it a stunt.
Hi John...
I know the feeling... it's like the saying: "No good deed goes unpunished." You just have to shrug it off and realize we're all descended from Adam and without Christ, bent in the wrong direction.
Thanks for your note. I sometimes wonder if I'm just sending these things into the air where no one sees or hears. But then the Lord sends a note like yours and reminds me I don't know *everything* that's going on out thre.
All the best to your family and have a Blessed Christmas. -- Jack
