Some days it’s difficult to know whether one’s coming or going.
Today felt suspiciously like another day in the turf – but we didn’t seem to make much progress moving the ball toward the goal posts. Seems like there was/is too much looseness in the ‘game’. But we’ll soldier on and keep an eye on the ammo.
Miz Pearlie seems to be restive. Possibly she caught the flavor of what the other guys were saying about slow progress… but that’s part of the strategy of the game. We saw a couple of British bicyclers and their opponents jockeying for position evening before last and for the life of me I couldn’t tell just how that competition was managed. Volleyball both two and six players on a team I can sort of follow – even with the speed of the play. But the fine points escaped me. Still and all it seemed like the players and the divers and all were giving it their best. I’m pleased with the contests.
However it does seem to take away some of the direct competition – but those of us who aren’t fans of *every* type of contest are left at the gate scratching our heads and wondering just what’s happened? We can always count on our friends at the Bait Shop and Sushi Bar in Playfair pull us out of the ignorance pit. At least we’ll try to look smart.
Time’s about up for today, we’re itching to try out some new equipment tomorrow to see if it can speed up our slowing down process. Although with the many typing errors I tend to make I don’t see that assistance either human or specially made to order will be able to help us calm down the number of mistakes and turn them into victories.
Anyway – we’ll look forward to being with you in the contest window in the coming day – do all you can to pray for victory in the best way possible.
Cordially, IN HIM
Jack
