We continue to be heavily weighed down by the lack of recovery news from our accident victim son, Kim, up in
But we are cheered by the number of people who have supported him and Linda his wife, during this difficult time. We’ve talked a lot with the Doctors both the trauma team and the neurosurgeon folks at the
Several people who have been through similar crises say the waiting is the toughest part.
In some of the research I’ve done around the internet I’ve run into a case in which a family’s oldest daughter’s car stalled on some RR tracks and then hit by a train… the car burned and of course the daughter died at the wreck scene… A few days later another family member went to be with the Lord and those kinds of double whammies are hard to take. But the Lord has said to those who are believer: “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee” and if we are to trust the scriptures and the fellowship//testimony of believers we KNOW HE (the Lord) Cannot fail – and our hope remains locked in the solid Rock Christ Jesus. That is what we know and what we have to claim.
As I’ve mentioned this before – we’ve been through the exercise of putting Kim on the Altar before – knowing the promises of the Lord. So we won’t give up until HE says to “Come UP Hither” – we all have to ‘graduate’ someday and so we cannot lose no matter what happens. Thank you for your prayers and support.
The Blog today deals with a bit of cooling things down. We can find consolation in knowing God is still in total control and command of all these events. He is the one to whom we must look for leadership and guidance.
Cordially, IN HIM
Jack

By 1953 over a million window units sold and the South’s electoral votes jumped from 127 to 160 today – so Thank you Mr. Carrier and Mr. Gordon for reporting on the bigger electoral possibility down South. I thought folks here in watermelon country might appreciate the news. <> I’m Jack Buttram.
