Somewhat out of the ordinary things seem to be happening here on the back lot.
We plan one thing – but we stumble on to another. I noted in preparing the material for today’s program an objection Sen. Santorum expressed about persecutions of Christians going on in
Possibly you’ve heard the word “Copts” – spelled c-o-p-t-s – mentioned from time to time in stories of Hosni Mubarak being deposed as
I won’t take a lot of time today… and especially if you’ve not heard or read today’s program. It’s kind of like trying to keep more than three juggling balls in the air at once. I’m not any good even at just two.
But stay with us – and follow the issue. I think you’ll find it interesting and perhaps the Lord will impress something on your heart and mind as we go through this. And… well.. at least it’s a departure for a while from the long slog we’ve got ahead of us to get to November 6th 2012.
Thanks for being here… be with us as often as you can.

“JUST A MINUTE”
VIOLENCE IN
Just a Minute: This news story is crowded off our networks by American politics. But violence in Egypt is reaching crisis proportions as the country’s ruling military council tries to calm its worst crisis since ex-President Hosni Mubarak, was forced out of power. The council denies it was responsible for the violence in which at least 25 people, mostly Coptic Christians, died over the weekend.
The “Copts” claim to be descended from the apostle Mark’s early evangelical efforts in the first century – and were the majority of those claiming to be Christian in the 7th and 8th centuries, though they definitely constitute a minority in today‘s population.
Most of those killed are likely Coptic protesters – except one or two soldiers --
