Well it draws on toward midnight and I’m heading for bed again – ASAP. Yesterday and today have been a bit frazzling. (Kids don’t know that means an unraveling rope – nobody jumps rope any more.) I never mastered it. Terribly embarrassing to be out ‘jumped’ by *girls*. I’m still ashamed of it – but have no need to be now. But I’m grown up enough to know girls are *always* going to out class me in some things. (Having babies is a good example!) Oh for gooness sake Jack… that’s stupid. [That was Miss Pearlie sneakin into my thought box.]
Today and yesterday I was thinking about how many things have been said into mikes politicians thought were ‘dead.’
President Reagan once embarrassed himself talking about the bombing that would begin in five minutes. [HE WAS KIDDING FOLKS!] But he was responsible for getting the Berlin Wall removed. He did it good-naturedly. Mr. Putin could use a strong shot of that medicine. Mr. Biden… Mr. Cheney, Mr. Bush a whole bunch of ‘em. Oh but certainly not Mr. Obama?
He probably has the all time-record – well maybe that’s a little strong. Billy-bob said yesterday whenever he sees microphones he thinks ‘rattlersnakes’ – that’s pretty difficult to top.
Well, we’ll call it a day and let you cogitate on the times you’ve said something and wished you had a string on your tongue to pull that word back in… or maybe you thought about it during the night. That’s about the worst because you can’t seem to shake a thought out between 3 and 5 in the AM… I know I’ve tried. Well .. so much for Mr. Obama and his dreams and my dreams. The implication is obvious. He is not presently able to accede to Mr. Putin’s expansive power such canceling all missile defense undertaken by European and American allies – but he expects to be after the next election.
Ever since “candidate” Obama, was denied a favored speaking spot in Berlin by the German Prime Minister – (she reminded Senator Obama, the Brandenburg Gate location is reserved only for heads of state – of which he was not) he discovers his appetite whetted for an expansion of power in his current post.
