IT’S FRIDAY!!!! Shore nuff….
Well it’s been a wet and somewhat mildewed week by my chart. A bit more sunshine would be welcome – especially since we seem going full speed into the fall cooling season.
In our family we have some
Although I walked into one home-improvement / hardware store this week…and a whole big corner up front was already full of CHRISTMAS TREES. I couldn’t believe it. I spoke to one of the clerks… he said it was an astonishment to him also. They took a clean jump, plumb over Halloween, Thanksgiving and the start of shopping – and cut to the *important stuff* -- gettin’ the folks to loosen their pocketbooks for Christmas!
Well – if you’re a store owner and still got a lot of stuff left over from last Christmas… I guess I can sympathize… but frankly, Halloween isn’t our thing now that we don’t have little ones around… and I DO enjoy THANKSGIVING. I believe that’s for me the *real* beginning of the Season of Christmas and hit’s the target because giving THANKS is what we never get too much of. (Not a great grammatical pinnacle… but you get my drift.)
We do have a great deal for which to be THANKFUL and I’d just as soon get started on that early – we can never fully appreciate what God has done for us – and how bountifully HE has blessed our nation. I’m only ashamed of how little we acknowledge HIM.
Well… Let me hear from you if you have an opinion on today’s program. Your remarks are always welcome!
Cordially, IN HIM

ROBERT REICH’S REVEALING SPEECH
Just A Minute – In a 2007 speech recorded at UC Berkeley, Robert Reich, from the Clinton Cabinet, gave his thoughts on the Democrat’s health care program, he thought candidates might conceal:
(quote)"You… particularly you young people, particularly you young healthy people -- you're going to have to pay more. And by the way, [when we all get] very old, we're not going to give you all that technology and all those drugs for the last couple of years of your life to keep you maybe going for another couple of months. [That's] too expensive . . . so we're going to let you die…” (un-quote)
He further promised a government program will “force” drug companies, insurance and care providers … to reduce costs, which will mean less innovation, fewer new products … “which means you’re probably not going to live much longer than your parents."
Hmm… Wonder if that has anything to do with the Republicans recently winning a total of six state legislative seats from Democrats in special elections this year, in
