Hi Folks –

 

We’re trying something a little different today. Adding the script of today’s program to the blog so it’s easier to comment on. Tell me what you think. Billy-Bob has his problems (as do I) with the compute age.

 

PROMO LINE: Some days the computer has a mind of its own it seems – diabolical it seems. That’s Billy-Bob’s experience with his first try at blogging. Maybe you’ve got a suggestion for him. Here’s today’s script:

 

 “JUST A MINUTE”

BB: JIST a Minit –This bloggin’ thang…I tried to send you a message but hit never came through. 

Jack: Did you see the bottom of the page that said “0 comments”?

BB: No… time I got there hit said “4 comments.”

Jack: There were four comments ahead of yours.

MizP:  Mine dint git through neither.

Jack: Did you use your password?

MizP: Password?

Jack: Setting up an e-mail account you have to create a password – like “BaitShop42” – something you’ll remember.

Homer: I thank mine got through OK… d’you git hit?

Jack: No… something’s not working right yet… we’ll keep at it.

BB: Well, if'n Christopher Columbus couldn’t use hit,

Jack: Now don’t get discouraged… I’ll show the folks over at “Earl ‘n’ Lester's”…

BB: My ‘puter’s so old… hit’ll send smoke signals.

Homer: Don’t give up on hit Mr. Bill…this’ll brang you rite into the twenty first century.

MizP: You won’t let the Bait Shop crowd git ahead of you?

BB: I jist don’t know…

MizP: You can do hit Beelie… I’ve seen you untangle a spinnin’ reel an tie on a new lure in two seconds … you can do this.

Homer: You can do hit, Mr. Bill…

BB: If’n kids kin do hit… Ah jist feel so stupid… 

Jack: Look … I’ll put the script on the screen where you can see your own words. .

BB: Ok… mebby I kin git Lil Caleb ta' hep me… he’s smart …

MizP: Hoo-ray… that’s Th’ spirit.

Jack:  OK – we’ll be looking for you…I’m Jack Buttram.
